A romantic Bavarian blackletter cut into stencil plates, reworked for legibility in 2024.

About

The source plates come from Bavaria and were clearly made by hand rather than in a factory. Someone around 1890 took textura forms, added Baroque flourishes and turned the lot into a modular stencil system. Seidel redrew several letters in 2024 so headlines hold together.
