Astype Stencil specimen from Astype Fonts

A Futura Black meets DIN Stencil Type A geometric stencil, with a free Basic cut and a full Regular.

About

Astype Stencil started as a finger exercise after the DIN Stencil Type A work and sat in a drawer until 2024. The Basic style is free for any use; the Regular adds alternates and Cyrillic. It is the first face to carry the studio's name.

Classification

A geometric stencil in the Futura Black lineage crossed with DIN Stencil Type A, with wide bridges and a compact lowercase. Poster and headline use.
