Outline retains the Old Style skeleton and flowing construction of its Garamond and Granjon references while removing all stroke contrast, producing a calm, consistent rhythm suited to both text and display use. The Round sub-family introduces softened terminals and more playful details, extending the system's range toward headlines and expressive branding work. Three weights — Hairline, Light and Medium — each with italics, cover Latin and Cyrillic scripts across both sub-families.
Classification
Rooted in the proportions and flowing construction of Garamond and Granjon, Outline strips away traditional stroke contrast to create a monoline humanist serif. The absence of thick-thin variation places it in a hybrid territory, but its Old Style skeleton and historical letterform references keep it firmly within the humanist serif tradition.
