A transitional serif that crosses inscriptional capitals with grotesque bones, in four weights with a lively corsivo.
About
Romano pairs monumental capitals and half-serifed terminals with a lowercase that leans towards the grotesque. The corsivo is loose and irreverent rather than formal. First published in 2012 and fully redrawn in 2018, it ships with small caps, old-style figures and alternate M, R and K.
Classification
Inscriptional capitals and semi-serifed terminals on a transitional skeleton, with a cursive italic. Serif by structure even though the serifs are partial.
