A single-weight Korean display typeface designed by Ahn Sam-yeol in 2020, built around expressive stroke manipulation and formal omissions within the buri (serifed Hangul) tradition.
About
Designed as a companion to 310 DoenGothic, 310 DoenBuri applies deliberate structural modifications to the buri style, where strokes are selectively omitted or transformed to produce a distinctive voice. Its coverage includes 2,690 Hangul letters, 104 Latin characters and 693 symbols, all encoded in Unicode OTF format. The licence operates on a three-year renewable model with tiered options covering print, digital, commercial products and server-based font services.
Classification
A Korean display typeface in the buri (부리, serifed) style, characterised by bold stroke manipulation, deliberate omissions and formal transformations that give it an expressive, experimental character distinct from conventional Hangul serif conventions.
